FARMERS, HERDSMEN CLASH: BENUE OPPOSES GRAZING LAND



-          Following the Federal Government’s plans to set up grazing lands to end riot between farmers and herdsmen, Benue government says establishing ranches would solve the crisis.
-          The state government reiterated its position in a statement issued on behalf of government by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and ICT, Mr. Tahav Agerzua.
-          Agerzua stated that it is the universally accepted practice, which necessitated the government’s position on the matter.
-          He urged states to synergize with the federal government and implement the policy rapidly.
