A’Ibom State lawmakers have granted approval for
the AKSG to guarantee contractors finance for industrialization of the Etinan -
Uyo road.

The resolution was taken at the plenary session
of Thursday 31 March 2016, and lawmakers hope, the move will help drive
industrialization.

Moreover, the guarantee to the contractors was
at the tune of 8 billion naira at the interest rate of 14.5 percentages and for
a refund of payment within 36 months.

However, the construction of the road is being
handing by the Chino Nigeria Limited Company which based in A’Ibom State.
