SERAP URGES BUHARI TO COORDINATE GS’s RESPONSE TO FUEL CRISIS

    The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) have urged President Mohammadu Buhari to use his position as Minister of Petroleum Resources and urgently coordinate responses to the fuel scarcity.

-          The statement was signed by the Executive Director of SERAP, Mr. Adetokumbo Mumuni in Abuja on Monday.
-          Mumuni stated that the scarcity of fuel was adversely affecting millions of Nigerians and causing serious hardship.
-          He stressed that the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights consider poverty as a breach of the obligations assumed by states.
