A man identified as Luck Udeagwu, arrested by
members of the Rapid Response Team of the Lagos State Police Command, for
allegedly stealing a 35 meter-long armored cable meant for the Lagos State
Government’s Light up Lagos project in Ogundu area.

The suspect, who claimed to hail from Delta
State, was sighted by the police, coming out of the bush along side two
accomplices, now at large.

The leader of the police team, inspector Bello
Kabir, said his men were on a routine patrol when they cited the thieves from
afar.

Meanwhile the police are still searching for
other two members of the group who are still at large.
