The Nasarawa
State House of Assembly has suspended six Legislators indefinitely over an
alleged misconduct during the House proceedings on Monday.

Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Mr. Godiya
Akwashiki (PDP) who Presided at the sitting officially announced the
suspension.

According to Akwashiki, 14 lawmakers voted in
support of the motion for the suspension of the six lawmakers who engaged in misconduct
on Monday.

The affected lawmakers Kassim-Mohammed Kassim (APC
Akwanga South), Murtala Sodangi (APC Nasara Central), Mohammed Okpoku (APC
Udeghe/Loko), Musa Ali (APC Keffi East), Makpa Malia (APC Wamba) and Abubakar
Kana (APC Kokona West) were suspended indefinitely without salary and
allowances.
