say Nigerians may pay more for petrol soon as the Federal Government (FG) says
it would undertake the review of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), known as Petrol.

The Acting Executive Secretary of the Petroleum
Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), Mrs. Sotonye Iyoyo urged the FG to
automate the operations of PPPRA operations for improved efficiency and transparency.

In a visit to PPPRA in Abuja, Minister of State
for Petroleum Resources, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu stated that the fuel crisis witnessed
in Nigeria would end by this weekend.

Kachikwu revealed that the Federal Government is
considering the privatization of the petroleum sector with operators permitted
to source for funding and run the industry, while government would modulate the
price of the products.
