SOLDIERS KILL 15 INSURGENTS, CAPTURE 6, AND RESCUE 275 HOSTAGES



-           Troops of 152 Task Force Battalion and a sector of the Multinational Task Force have killed about 15 suspected Boko Haram fighters in villages in Borno State.

-          Reports say the military also rescued 275 hostages and captured six insurgents.
-          The hostages were rescued during a joint operation by the troops at Madawaya, Jere, Kardile, Koujili, Ngenere, Maksamari, Douse, Bembem, Zombulum and Taraji villages.
-          The Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman revealed that one of the rescued women was delivered of a baby boy shortly after the hostages were freed.
