APC BERATES FAYOSE OVER EKITI WORKERS’ UNPAID SALARIES

-           The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state has berated Governor Ayodele Fayose over the unpaid salary arrears of state government workers.

-          They said Governor Fayose contradicts his campaign promises by choosing to build an airport, new market and a flyover bridge, instead of executing his campaign slogan “tar stomach.’

-          In its statement, APC Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunboshun accused Fayose of playing games with the intelligence of Ekiti people in his programme implementation policy.

-          The statement described Governor Fayose’s treatment of workers as “ungodly and sheer wickedness”, adding that non-payment of salaries crippled the local economy which solely depends on salaries.
