DISPLACED PERSONS AND FOOD THEFT

-          The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Borno State, says displaced persons in the area have resorted to food theft from houses in the Maiduguri.

-          The commandant of NSCDC, Mr Ibrahim Abdullahi made this known in an interview recently in Maiduguri.

-          He noted that the corps has arrested some culprits and was able to prove they were displaced persons.

-          Abdullahi also pledged the resolve of the corps to work extra hard to ensure security in Borno.
