Travelers and road users are suffering following
the increase in transport fares by shuttle operators at the Murtala Mohammed
International Airport, Lagos.

Report says the fares were hiked from N100.00 to
N150.00 for all destination within the airport environment, while vehicles from
the airport to Ikeja charged N200.00
against N150.00

Following the hike and lack of commercial
vehicles, low income earners within the airport trekked to their destinations.

The General
Secretary of Airport Cab Operators, Mr. Olalekan Agboola said they increased
the fares due to the fuel scarcity in the country.
