NULGE WANTS ANTI GRAFT PROBE EXTENDED TO LGAs

-          The National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) has urged the Federal Government to extend the anti-graft probe to all Local Governments Areas in the country.

-          NULGE National President, Alhaji Ibrahil Khaleel made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen in Maiduguri on Sunday.

-           He stated that fighting corruption will not yield positive results if the FG doesn’t extend the probe to Local Government’s joint accounts.

-          According to him, the probe of local government joint accounts was imperative because some government officials used it to siphon tax payers’ monies.
