FUEL SCARCITY: SHUTTLE OPERATORS IN AIRPORTS HIKE FARES



-          Travelers and road users are suffering following the increase in transport fares by shuttle operators at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

-          Report says the fares were hiked from N100.00 to N150.00 for all destination within the airport environment, while vehicles from  the airport to Ikeja charged N200.00 against N150.00
-          Following the hike and lack of commercial vehicles, low income earners within the airport trekked to their destinations.
-           The General Secretary of Airport Cab Operators, Mr. Olalekan Agboola said they increased the fares due to the fuel scarcity in the country.
