FEYReP TO ESTABLISH VOCATIONAL TRAINING FOR INMATES

-          Family Empowerment and Youth Reorientation Programme (FEYReP), an initiative of Martha Emmanuel, wife of the Akwa Ibom governor visited Ikot Abasi and Eket prisons.

-          The governor’s wife promised to set up skills acquisition workshop for the inmates in collaboration with the relevant agencies.

-          Stressing that even behind bars, the inmates can still lead productive lives.

-          The deputy comptroller of the prison in Ikot Abasi, Ogbeifun Joseph and the chief superintendent in charge of Eket, Agomo ibezimako both appreciated the governor’s wife for her kindness.
