The Chairman,
House of Representatives’ Committee
on Basic Education, Rep. Zakari Mohammed, made the promise in Ilorin on Monday.

He
hopes this will tackle the recent observations and pronouncements of the
Supreme Court concerning the constitutional relevance of card readers in
elections.

Stating
that lawmakers will work to make the card readers legally binding in order to
uphold the electoral reforms introduced in the country.
