ASUU DESCRIBES PERSISTENT FUEL SCARCITY AS A SABOTAGE

-           The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) describes the persistent fuel scarcity in the country as part of the ongoing sabotage in Nigeria’s political system.

-          The National President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Fagge stated this in Lagos after paying a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. Olanrewaju Fagbohun.
-          According to Sagge, groups of people who were fond of stealing public funds are responsible for the persistent fuel scarcity.
-          However, he admonished the government to consider and analyse the challenges that culminate from the removal of fuel subsidy, adding that government should always reveal the true situation of things to citizens.
