PRESIDENT APPROVES ACTIVATION OF BASA WITH ISREAL

 - President Mohammadu Buhari has directed the immediate activation of a Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) signed by Nigeria with Israeli nation in 2013.

-          The disclosure was made in a statement signed by Mr. Celestine Ogugua, Head of Media, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC).

-          According to reports, activating the agreement would make flights from Nigeria to Israel for pilgrims stress free, reducing long hours’ flight before getting to the holy land.

-          Apart from the spiritual benefits of pilgrimage, the Pilgrims would receive training from Israeli Ministry of Agriculture.
