WOMEN GROUP SALUTES BELLO ON EMPOWERMENT

-          The group known as the Women Empowerment Coalition, (WEC) has saluted the empowerment initiative of the Kogi State first lady, Rashida Bello.

-          The group described the empowerment as “a timely intervention to save women and youths from poverty and deprivation.”

-           Deaconess Margereth Adebayo, who is the spokesperson of the group, conveyed the group’s gratitude to Mrs. Bello for considering women’s and youths’ plights a priority in her agenda.

-          Adebayo said it is imperative for non-governmental organizations to key into the new Direction agenda of the present administration to ensure rapid development in the state.
