BENUE LEADERS CRITICISE BUHARI, GOV., OTHERS



-           A joint  meeting of Benue leaders and  all socio-cultural groups has attacked President Mohammadu Buhari, the state Governor, Army and Police Chiefs for failing to visit Agatu and other besieged communities  after the attacks and killings by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

-           They described the leaders’ actions as being insensitive and care free to the plight of the citizens of the state.
-          In a Communique issued after a combined meeting of Mdzough U Tiv, Idoma National Forum and the Omi Ny’Igede on the killings and wanton destruction of properties by herders.
-          They expressed worry over the delay in setting up Presidential Investigative Panel as promised by President Buhari.
