SOLDIERS IN GUN BATTLE WITH SUSPECTED CULT MEMBERS IN RIVERS STATE.

-          There was a heavy shootout on Sunday between members of the Nigerian army and some suspected cult members in Ubete Community in Ahoada West L.G.A of Rivers state.

-          Source account that the shootout began on Saturday, after soldiers raided some of the criminal hideouts within the area.

-          The source said the soldiers raided four LGAs in the state, including Ahoada West, where crime  was believed to have gone to a worried-some level.

-          The shootout forced residents to stay indoors, while casualties were not reportedly recorded.
