- To protect the weakening effect of the
falling oil prices on Nigerians and effectively re-vitalize the economy,
professionals in the South-South and South- East have urged President Buhari to
declare a 3-year state of emergency on the sector.
- The professionals noted that Nigeria’s
present economy is in a bad state, urged the president to take proactive
measures to avoid the country from being faced with a bleak future.

State House Correspondents after a meeting with Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo.
- Ugwu also campaigned against giving
preferential treatment to some individuals to the detriment of the country’s
economy.
