An Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s Court has remanded
a 24-year-old man, Saviour Edith to Kirikiri prison for allegedly defiling a
neighbour’s 3-year-old daughter.

Inspector Benedict Aigbokhan
(Prosecutor) told the court that the accused defiled the girl on March 23.

The accused who lives at 19
Ishajimi Street, Agege in Lagos, however pleaded not guilty.

The Chief Magistrate, Mr.
Tajudeen Elias ordered the accused to be remanded till April 20, pending the
determination of his bail application.
